Many thanks to all who attended the Finchcocks concert. That was a lot of notes to play and I must admit I came off stage feeling my life expectancy had been a little shortened. I'm now preparing to record the same music next week, also at Finchcocks.
A couple of my compositions are now for sale (see the shop section), three rather romantic love songs to anonymous texts for soprano/tenor and piano, and Prelude, Choral and Scherzo for solo piano; a bit of a showpiece that one! More to follow as I slowly get to grips with Sibelius software!

Preparing for tonights concert at Finchcocks

York Moors, Erard & Garden Parties...

Greetings! It's been a busy year; I've enjoyed a wide variety of performing/recording projects. Particular highlights have been the North York Moors Chamber Music Festival, a concert with Jamie Walton in King's Place (what a fabulous venue!) and Prince Charles' Garden Party to Make a Difference. Moving away from the piano keyboard and on to the computer keyboard, my written piece on 'Keyboard Temperament in the Nineteenth Century' was published in Harpsichord and Fortepiano Magazine....read the full article here.
